All Classes:
  • Vocabulary Lesson 13 due Tues., 1/7; Lesson 14 due Tues., 1/14
  • Vocabulary Test on Lessons 13&14 Thurs., 1/16
  • Reading Log and Response Due Fri., 1/10
8th Grade:
  • See above for work assigned to "All Classes"
  • Blended poetry assignment due Wed., 1/8 (make sure to use planning organizer, type final poem, and add at least two images that represent your dreams, goals, or memories)
7th Grade:
  • See above for work assigned to "All Classes"
  • Wax Museum:
    • Bring in all sources daily! (Entire W.M. folder should be going back and forth between school and home)
    • Green packet, first set of notes (18 in total- pg. 4, 5, and 6) due Wed., 1/8- this means you should have started a careful reading of your book and online source to get information.  Make sure to keep track of the type of notes (summary, paraphrase, or quote) as well as the source and pg. # the information is coming from.
    • Third source (book or internet) due Fri., 1/10
    • ***You can, and should, start using your Wax Museum book as your SSR and reading log/response book.  This will help you use your time in the most efficient way!
6th Grade:
  • See above for work assigned to "All Classes" 
  • Q2 Exam Re-visit: Re-read "The Secret Among the Stones", annotating the text, for Tues., 1/7
  • Greek Heroes Book:
    • Complete reading chp. 8-10 for Fri., 1/10
