All Classes:

• Vocab lesson 5 due Tues., 10/18; lesson 6 due Tues., 10/25
• Vocab Test lessons 5&6 Thurs., 10/27
• Read 100 Minutes per Week; Reading Logs/Responses Due Fri., 10/21

6th Grade:

• Freak the Mighty: Novel test Fri., 10/21 (start studying using current study guide packet; we will review more during class, and additional study guide will follow)
• Story planning- Complete page 15 in writing packet (planning) and pages 17-20 (storyboard) for Tues., 10/18 (remember that you DO NOT need to fill in all pages/boxes of the story board; as a class, we determined that you should have between 6-10 of the storyboard events filled in)

7th Grade:

• "What is an individual's responsibility to society?" rough draft (make sure to save graphic organizer and staple to the back of essay)
• bring in Three Cups of Tea books to return

8th Grade:

• Gothic Tale: Rough draft due Tues., 10/18 (make sure to attach first draft and peer editing sheet); rough draft should be clearly revised and improved upon from first draft, 3-5 pages typed and double spaced, 12 font.
